Born in 1987 Aichi, Japan.

Ayane Yamanaka has completed Bachelor degree in music composition (with prof. J. O'Leary) and the piano (with prof. D. Mooney) at the DIT Conservatoy of Music and Drama in Ireland. She also stdied the organ (with prof. U. Russell) and the saxophone (with Prof. T. Hanafin and A. Cafolla).



In 2013 she has completed Master degree in music composition in the Academy of Music in Cracow in Poland (Akademia Muzyczna w Krakowie).

Ayane was a receiptant of a scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for three years. She majorerd in instrumental composition with prof. Marcel Chyrzynski and computer music with prof. Marek Chołoniewski.



Some of her compositional experience includes 'Blackbird' which was awarded highly commended in the Jerome Hynes Composer's competition in the National Concert Hall Dublin 2010 and in the same year, 'One day' which was selected for a workshop by the ConTempo Quartet in Ireland. In 2012, she became one of the finalist of  the ''CAGE 1,2,3'' contest in Lublin, Poland.



Ayane also has many experiences as a pianist. She was selected in master classes with Angela Hewitt at National Concert Hall in Dublin in 2009, also received lessons with Barry Douglas, Vanessa Latarche, Douglas Humphreys, Hui-Ying Liu and Ronan O'Hara at the conservatory.
 

She was the winner of the scholarship competition by Father Frank Mahar Music Bursary in 2006 in Ireland and has performed at several concerts as a solist including Schostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2 (2008) and Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20. (2009) at Gleeson hall with DIT symphony orchestra.

Her recent achievements are also can be seen in many concerts, film festivals, conferences, music/art festivals and workshops such as; Max Mathews in Memoriam, Elektro Nova, Audio art festvial, Elektroniczny Koktajl Wieloowocowy, HMG Festival, aXes, Druskomanija, Vox Electronica in Poland, Lithuania, Germany, Ukraine, Japan and Ireland.
